"Charisma" is an illustration that speaks to how African women come together to reflect, heal, and rebuild themselves. They are fiercely protective of each other, holding each other together in moments of turmoil. By living in unison, it shows how we can achieve the endless possibilities of our dreams. Our sisters are a source of power, love, hope, and light.

Hello, I am Yeabtsega Getachew, a digital artist based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Art is the passion that gives me the freedom to explore ideas in my own personal way of thinking. I love creating art because it is the realm where I can think outside of the box and express deep and meaningful ideas the way I want them to be. It challenges me to see far out into the future and think whether I will be able to impact the way we see art from the country I live in.
Most of my work seeks to use a method to convey abstract ideas that any viewer can interpret and relate to their personal life. Doing what I do is a privilege I am thankful for.
